Shoe laces hit:

This is the best way to practice the control on the ball. The players should keep the toe down and ankle should be locked. The ball then should be hit with the laces part of the shoes. This will take some time to practice. It keeps the feet protected and makes the hitting quickly.

Hand and foot coordination:

Take the ball in your hand and drop it on the dominant foot and now hit it back to the hand and catch it. The next time do the same but hit the ball twice with the foot before bouncing it back. Keep doing it and progressing in the number of bounces one makes from the foot. It requires a lot of practice and patience to master.

Alternate hits:

Following step 2 when you are confident with the dominant foot you must move ahead and try alternating feet and then hitting and catching the ball.

The best soccer practice should be done with a goal in mind. This goal could be weekly or daily which will help the players analyze their growth. The players can even switch between these practice styles to make sure they are not losing grip on any of them. It is also important that there is number progression in all of them.
